Wing Rock Motions Induced by Two Kinds of Asymmetric Vortices Flows

Abstract
Wing rock motions induced by two kinds of asymmetric vortices flows were discussed in detail. The first wing rock motion is induced by asymmetric vortices flow over forebody from the configuration of revolution body and low swept wing. This wing rock motion appears indeterminacy and it forms from disturbance trigging at forebody nose tip. In order to suppress the wing rock motion of model, a technique of rotating perturbation at nose tip of model was proposed. The second wing rock motion is induced by separation vortices flow over forebody and wing from the configuration of chined body and middle swept wing. This kind of wing rock motion is dominated by boundary condition of the model, and it is determinacy. Therefore, it should change boundary condition of the model to suppress this wing rock. Finally, this type of wing rock motion dominated by variation of vortex strength of the wing vortices was discussed.
