Abstract:
Supercritical jet technology, as a new technology of supercritical fluid development, has important applications in aerospace engines, carbon sequestration, deep oil and gas extraction and other aspects. At present, the research on supercritical fluid jets focuses on single-component fluid jets, and there are relatively few studies on the interfacial behavior of two or more fluid jets. In this paper, a two-dimensional numerical model of supercritical CO
2-N
2 inter-jet was established, and the numerical model was quantitatively verified through the visual experimental analysis of the jet process by pixel-array masked method and phase-shift interferometry technique. The simulation was carried out for the CO
2 and N
2 jets under different conditions, and the characteristics of the inter-jet flow and the mixing characteristics were analysed for the typical conditions.
